In this week’s episode of Show Me the Way, I sit down with my good friend Christine Spradlin—a name you’ve probably heard me mention before! Not only is Christine a huge supporter of the show, but she’s also introduced me to some amazing past guests like Melissa Welch and Kari Grunwald.
Christine and I originally met through a business networking group and instantly connected. We’re both boy moms, soccer moms, and servant-hearted businesswomen who love supporting others. Christine and her husband own a restoration company, making her not only a trusted contact for home emergencies but also the kind of friend you can count on no matter what.
Although she was hesitant to come on the podcast, I knew Christine’s story needed to be shared. She opens up about one of the most challenging times in her life—when her family’s home was destroyed in a house fire. From losing everything to living in a hotel and rental for months, Christine shares the emotional journey of rebuilding, both physically and mentally.
Through it all, she discovered valuable lessons: how to accept help, how to stay positive in the face of devastation, and how to truly believe that everything is figureoutable. In our conversation, Christine also offers practical fire prevention tips, talks about her emergency restoration business, and reminds us of the power of community and the importance of having a strong village around you.
Even if you haven’t faced a similar tragedy, Christine’s story will inspire you to find perspective, gratitude, and hope through life’s toughest moments.
