In this episode, I have an incredibly inspiring conversation with Jolene Towers who I was introduced to through a networking connection. Jolene is a wife, mother of four, grandmother to one, and a passionate advocate for special needs children and their families.

Jolene and her husband’s world changed when their daughter was diagnosed with Cri-du-Chat syndrome shortly after birth. Doctors predicted severe developmental delays and a limited lifespan, but 29 years later, their daughter continues to thrive, teaching them invaluable lessons about life, strength, and connection.

Through the challenges of young marriage, frequent relocations due to her husband’s military career, raising three boys alongside her daughter, and dedicating herself to supporting others, Jolene has built a powerful community. She founded a support group that remains strong today and served on the board of a related society, ensuring that other families receive the guidance and encouragement they need.

Jolene’s story is a testament to perseverance, perspective, and the power of jumping in with both feet. Whether you’re facing personal struggles or simply seeking inspiration, this episode offers wisdom and motivation to navigate whatever comes your way.
